Meet Nadine

My name is Nadine-Elaine, and I am a German intern at Bertelsmann in New York. I am studying business administration, majoring in marketing and psychology, at the University of Marburg. Marburg is what you would call a typical German town: a beautiful castle upon a hill surrounded by wood and a lot of small old timbered houses. After two and a half years of studies, I decided to do an internship in New York to get to know a different culture and a complete different and much bigger city, to apply the practical aspects of my studies, and improve my English skills, which are very important for a German’s future business life. I chose Bertelsmann for different reasons: it’s one of the world’s largest companies with lots of opportunities; it’s a well-known company in Germany; and the content of the internship sounded really interesting.
