Program Profile:
Within a 12-18 months period under the employment of Bertelsmann China Corporate Center in Beijing, you will have the opportunity to work on 2-3 different entrepreneurial projects, both strategic and operational, at various Bertelsmann divisions in China and in other countries. In the course of the program, you will get deep insight into the Bertelsmann businesses, the company culture and network. The projects are related to different media products or business lines; hence prepare you for a managerial position in one of Bertelsmann China Divisions based on your background and achievement areas.
Job duties:
- Prepare for a managerial position within one of our business units in
China - Work with the management team of assigned business units, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Conduct market researches and leverage the analyzed results to conceptualize projects
- Lead a functional team to co-implement projects, leveraging the internal and external resources
- Conceptualize and recommend strategies for Bertelsmann businesses in
China
- Build up network both inside and outside the company for future synergies and business development
- Be granted the possibilities of working in overseas Bertelsmann companies for a period as on-the-job rotation.
Job requirements:
- Knowledge of
China business and media market - Strong business acumen, strong analytical skills
- Calculated risk taker and hands on execution ability
- Self-directed entrepreneur and flexible
- Previous success in project management
- Demonstrated leadership
- Effective communication with all levels of people as a good team player
- English a must
